Catriona Rowbotham

Catriona Rowbotham is a RIBA registered chartered architect with 13 years architectural experience working in London. Through working for medium sized design led practices in London, Catriona has gained experience in a wide number of sectors, listed below. She set up as a sole practioner in July 2007.

Practice Aims

Catriona aims to distill her knowledge and experience into a personal and focussed service to each client. As a sole practitioner, each client can be assured that the service they are receiving is directly from Catriona, not from a lesser experienced staff member.

Solutions to each project will be specific to the needs and desires of the client and the physical constraints of the site. Each scheme will form a clear, appropriate and simple response to these requirements. The practice aims to provide spaces that feel solid, reassuring and timeless, using quality materials and crisp detailing. In this way, quietly contemporary designs are formed, that are robust enough to cope with the inevitable mess of every day life.

Since the formation of the practice, Catriona has sought to develop a long held interest in sustainability and now endeavours to help clients make the most of current government initiatives. See the CRA & Sustainablility section of this website for further details.
